If anyone is having installation issues with k9u please post in this thread

Have finally found a solution (to my issue at least) so if anyone is continue to having issues with their install feel free to post in this thread if i can help in anyway. Its the least i can do since i found a solution for my problem

 

I looked at your other thread but it is Closed. What was the solution for the problems you ran into?

 

Nothing's working

I am using Mac OSX 10.8 (most current update) on a quad core i7 I've tried a lot of suggestions in this forum about the komplete 9 ultimate installation and I keep running into the same problem,
It installs all the applications fine but when it comes to the content the second I type in my password to accept the changes it goes to a error installation message and doesn't even attempt to install. I've tried many different combinations like only installing the battery factory content only and still receive the error message instantly after I type in my password. I've sent them a email before New Years and they sent me an email contradicting saying that I should install each package individually which I already specified to them in the email I sent them and it will probably be another few weeks before they answer me again. I'm going to try to call them this is a bit rediculous after trying so many alternatives and even reformatted and reinstalling everything at least twice now. -_-

 

How about being in my predicament and reinstalling kontakt, batter 4, and reaktor 5 multiple times per day for a week and a half!!!!!

I would suggest turning your antivirus, as well as firewall off permanently (without time restrictions) while installing everything, I wouldnt turn ANYTHING back on until the service center (which assumes the installs went ok) registers everything properly and requires you to download updates. AFTER everything is updated, and youve tried out every product, only then can you turn back on your antivirus and firewall. Its crazy but it has alot to do with preventing registry changes during installation, which is why i was having a hard time finding folder destiantions when the install said everything downloaded/installed properly.

 

I've actually uninstalled my antivirus and my firewall is usually off in this case it was. I've seen that in the forums but I'm sorry I don't fall under that category I think I just got a bad installer and I'm going to get a copy from my friend so I can install it correctly. I think NI sent out a batch of corrupted drives around the time I bought it which was around December. For me the factory content just won't even attempt to install. I've uninstalled and installed everything twice cause I even saw someone say they had to install maschine last for it to work and so far that hasn't done anything. Thanks for the inquiry though.
