If i own Traktor Pro 3 do i still need to buy iPad version?

I have a kontrol s2 mk3 with the traktor pro 3 software, my question is (as i have just acquired an 2015 iPad air 2) do i need to buy the iPad traktor dj software separately, or shall i hold out and see if the iOS connection and possible future update to traktor kontrol s2 to work with this iPad air ?

You have to buy the Traktor IOS Version in the App Store. But unfortuneatly the App will not work with the Kontrol S2 MK3, only with the S2 MK 2 Version. Also be carefull with Updates of the IOS Version of the IPAD. There could arrise some Problems with the actual Version of the IOS.

Michael is right unfortunatly your mk3 is not supported from TDJ ...
NI never mentioned that a TDJ update is planed at all !, so i would not expect/wait a updated TDJ version which will support the new S2mk3 (my personal coin) .. maybe they plan a new DJ app instead on new architecture ... hopefully at least all current TDJ features will be covered and the time to wait to this new app is not tooo long ..

... and until this (agree to Michael again) i will NOT update to any iOS12 on my iPad (to make sure my current TDJ, Z1 and S4mk2 work well)

We know, this will not solve your current mk3 TDJ problem :/
