    Hi!

Im a totally newbie with Maschine, Im learning right now. I want to be able to communicate my feelings through music without limitation.

The question I have is that Im trying to slice a tiny piece of sound with the editor in Maschine in sample mode. Once I recorded the song I want to chop, I select the part of the track I want to truncate, I do this, save the work, appears a *.wav file on my desktop but when I try to load this chop, Maschine sofware tells me that occurred an error. Software cant acces to the original *.wav file. Then, what can I do for save only the part I want to use after chooping the original sample?

I record samples form Spotify via Soundflower. Hope this helps.

Is the wav file you have saved, still on desktop or dissappeared?
If its not there, that means you haven't saved it in a maschine project or group. Maschine deletes edits if it's not saved in project or group.
And as a group, you must use "save group with samples" option. Otherwise maschine deletes edited audios again. Which is very annoying, i lost many edits that way.

Btw, saving samples on desktop is not a good idea. Better save in maschines' standart user library or create new one.

You don't need to save in a project or group, and you certainly don't have to save group with samples either, you can just save the sample.
Just right click on the sample in the editor and use 'save sample'
You can put the sample anywhere you like, however if you don't save it to the default user folder, or a new user folder, then you wont be able to see it in the browser unless you click on files ;)

I didn't know to save single sample, thanks for that.
I used to move the sample manually after editing if i don't want to save project or group! :)
