I'm so confused about products

I'm new to sound design and when I look at NI page and products I'm so confused. What products are standalone? What products work with a 3rd party DAW? IS one of NI products an actual DAW? I have no idea what to buy or if I buy something what, I need to have to support it.

Can anybody help clear that up? Everything looks amazing but I'm not even close to getting info I need from the site.
    Thanks in advance.

    NI has no DAW.
    Everything in Komplete https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/
Is both a plugin that can work in any DAW but instruments also work standalone. Some instruments work inside others for example, most of the sample libraries open inside the Kontakt Sampler.

Another thing that caught me out at first, and still does sometimes, is that a lot of the instruments only work within the Reactor plug in. They don't appear as instruments in your browser.
In all honesty I would recommend you settle on a DAW first. Most have Demos. I'm sure people here could make recommendations too, depending on your experience, your budget and you style of music.
The nearest thing to a beginner package from NI would be to buy a Maschine Mk3. It comes with not only the hardware, which also includes a usable audio and midi interface. It also include a selection of good software instruments, loops and effects as well as the Maschine software, which while not a full DAW, is more than enough to get you started. It can also be used within a DAW should you buy one. There are plenty of free instructional videos on Youtube and some relatively cheap purchasable courses.
