    Hello,

I bought the Numark's Omnicontrol which turns Traktor LE.

On my AMD Athlon 64 processor, 2,20 GHz, 3 Go RAM with Windows XP, Traktor works perfectly, but with my laptop (satellite Toshiba U400) also with Windows XP, the image scrolling of the tracks is jerky (it stops every 5 seconds for one 1/2 second and then continues). After 20 minutes, they are also crackling for 10 seconds and after, the music continues normally.

I went to the store, and it seems that my laptop functions correctly. I installed also the software on an Acer aspire 6930 (exposed in the store) which turns with windows 7 and the image scrolling was also a little bit jerky (but less than with my Toshiba).

Someone does have the same problem? Which laptop would be necessary so that Traktor LE turns well (I'm not using mac) ?

In advance, thank you very much!

    Albéric

    Hi,
Please make sure that the latency is raised to avoid crackles in the sound. You should set it to approximately 10ms in order to avoid sound problems etc. This might also fix your issues with the playlist etc.

    Thank you for your answer.

I don't think it is a latency problem, I tried with more latency but I had the same problem...

Now I bought a new laptop (Lenovo) and it seems to work well!

    Thank you,
    Albéric

Some Notebooks (especially Dell) can cause problems. Also old hardware could be problematic if there are a lot of background processes running. Always make sure to keep your DJ Notebook clean and don't install a lot of unnecessary softweare on it.
