Imaschine crashing all the time.

I was delighted to see iMaschine and for a while I loved it. Then it started crashing. Today it crashed heaps of times even when it was the only app open.

Someone suggested (cos I posted this in the wrong area to start) that maybe I don't power down my iphone - true. But after doing this it still crashed within five minutes of play.

Another point is that I like leaving the quantize button (the one with 1/4, 1/16 and so on, open so that notes retrigger. I don't know if this was inteded but it sure is fun playing with it like that. Could that cause the crashing?

I love the app but it remains an unusable, unreliable toy until I can fix this.


Anyone have any suggestions? Can I remove it and put it back on from iTunes or will I lose my projects and the swagger pack that I bought.

At the moment it's looking like $8 for nothing but it's a great fun app if they fix it.

I also have this problem, and it does seem to always be while using the retrigger options. Which is a shame, as I love using them.

 

Regarding retrigger

So retrigger is the name for the cool repeating effect that makes it like a drum roll or fill. I got so good at doing that even on the iphone I was switching between 1/16 and 1/32 with some echo on the kits, sometimes two echoes and doing mad fills and then this rubbish started.

Another question, which they don't seem to be understanding what I'm saying is, when I re-installed imasching, the product I had bought called 'swagg city' disappeared. I think that probably because it was bought in an 'in app store' and not the app store as it's like a little ableton sound pack kind of thing right? It's just a few bucks but I wonder if they'll give me it back. There used to be some sort of button that said 'restore' after I bought that pack, where the price in dollars used to be but after re-installing it disappeared. Eh? What?

Just download the packs again like you are rebuying them. It looks like they are charging you again, but they actually won't

Here's hoping your right! Oh thanks, that worked. It says 'tap ok to download it for free, you already purchesed. ' Great. I guess now we just wait and see if they fix retrigger, as well as agonizing over which products to buy for half price for the next few days. If only.................
