iMaschine Keyboard Mode

The virtual keyboard in keyboard mode in iMaschine 2 gets stuck and will not play E, F, and sometimes G on one or both levels plus F# on the upper level. At first it works fine, but after just a couple minutes of playing, those keys no longer produce sound. I’m wondering if 1) anyone else is having this issue, 2) if NI is aware of this issue, and if not, I’m letting you know. I am on the latest iPad (7) with the next to latest iOS. If the newest iOS fixes this issue, then I am due for that update. Thanks.

 

Yes, this happens to me constantly! I am on an iPad Pro 2nd gen 12.9 inch, and the latest OS, 13.6.

 

Same here and, in addition, I am getting some really weird resonance particularly on bass patches. I am on iPad Pro (2nd Gen) 256GB IOS 14.0.1. It’s annoying as I was hoping to sketch out ideas on iMaschine and then transfer and work them up in Maschine Mikro 3 and DAW. Can’t do that as things stand.

 

Yes I have notice this too. Very strange behavior.. Sometimes almost not workable at all. When wil iMaschine 2 get fixed remains a mystery.

 

I am hoping that NI monitor these threads and I guess my main question is when is the next update of iMaschine scheduled please? Been playing around more today with the mix of sticky keys and resonance issues. The resonance issue I have traced to the Lo-Fi FX effect - simple fix is just to not use that (so Lo-Fi is No-Fi ). The sticky key issue seems to be, well 'sticky', and I haven't been able to find a workaround - can't upload videos here but I am sure this is easy for NI to reproduce - various (random) notes as per Wizenhart post above and happens quite quickly in use.

The problem is that the sticky keys make iMachine unusable workflow wise at the moment. I had purchased some expansion packs, which I intended to also purchase for Maschine 2.0 so that when I transfer from iMaschine 2 to Maschine 2.0 I have continuity in taking ideas/sketches toward production quality but this is 'no go' at the moment. The only solution to the sticky key issue appears to be to reboot iMaschine but issue soon reappears.

 

Does anyone know if a bug report ticket has been submitted for this issue? I am having the stuck key problem a lot on iPad

 

I believe a complaint message corresponds to a ticket. That's the job of a forum right? They Are updating iMaschine but I don't know if this will fix the problems we are facing, because the update is specifically about the expansion store not working properly as it should.
