Hi, I have a mac OS-X version 10.5.8. If I export Imaschine software from my Iphone to my Itunes, my computer can't find any program that supports the Imaschine project. do I have to download the Imaschine on my macbook also, please? thank you for info! M
you need to purchase Maschine or maschine Mikro to use the iMprj files. you can use the exported mixdown and/or the samples in your music software applications. sowari
NO! In other words. The $5 "investment" is a great app for making music on a mobile phone. They also added a feature to allow you to export those beats to their flagship beatbox named MASCHINE. If you want to use your beats with any other device - you can contact the developer and ask them to add exporters and pay lic fees for several dozens of other devices out there and keep the price at 5 bux ... Being as that PROBABLY will not happen... You CAN CURRENTLY use the EXPORT feature to save your iMaschine beats as audio files... even send them to SOUNDCLOUD ! SO... we have a 5 dollar APP .... 1. Make beats on the go with about 10 hours battery life (in a bus, on the train, on an airplane) 2. Send your beats to soundcloud for others to enjoy 3. Built in sampler 4. Support for your existing loop/wav library 5. IF and IF .. you happen to own a MASCHINE move your projects over to the bigger device for refinement... Hmm.. all that for 5 bux? I think my average LUNCH costs 5 dollars... and this APP lasts a lot longer than a lunch.... PS: Anyone complain that the garageband APP can not export its projects to a windows machine and furthermore requires the garageband APP to be purchased a 2nd time on a computer and not simply load into any DAW.... hmmm
Nothing like rampant fanboyism.. 1) my response was (somewhat) tongue in cheek 2) It was accurate in reflecting the OP's expectation of the program 3) it was a factual statement So actually, YES! STRATEGY and yeah, I do expect more for my $5 bucks eventually, looking forward to see what they add.
Assuming you're creating a loop, exporting to soundcloud will allow you to import the soundcloud file into something (say, Garage Band) and loop it to your heart's content. Admittedly, this won't work if you're trying to get your (not a loop) composition into a specific program. If you just want it for iTunes, though (for example to create a ringtone), the soundcloud-to-iTunes thing should work.
Use this method (it's what I do) mute all but one of the 4 tracks export as wav unmute the next track, mute the one you just exported export as wav continue until all your loops are exported. Pretty simple really.
I have Maschine and iMaschine, I've exported tracks out of iMaschine successfully but when I open the iMprj file, maschine launches but nothing comes up. When I try to open the file from Maschine the iMprj file is greyed out. Any ideas?
There's a bug right now from the new update, they're working on it: http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166769 STRATEGY
