Hi, I'm building a reaktor emulation of Reason's subtractor synthesizer cause I like its synth architecture. Everything is looking good soo far except that I'm stuck on one thing. If you're familiar with Reason you'll notice that its devices have an LFO sync option which synchronizes the lfo rate to the tempo. So for example, an LFO rate setting of 4/4 would have the lfo cycle through its waveform within the time period of one bar. I know that at 120BPM a Reaktor LFO rate of 1hz cycles the waveform 2 times a bar which is equivalent to an LFO rate of 2/4 on subtractor's LFO rate knob. Now I'm not terribly good at math and I know that I need some sort of equation so I don't have to make all these time conversions (i.e 1hz at 120BPM = 2/4) in order to find out which subtractor LFO rates (in bar length) correspond to which reaktor LFO rates (in hz). I hope someone is brave enough to help me figure this out as it would be for the greater good. Thank you.

No need to invent the wheel again!

Search for 'Morphes' by Dieter Zobel. There you will find just what you need in a macro.

Koyaanisqatsi in the user lib has has an LFO with either song or gate sync options, and can be used as a random sample&hold based on the gate triggers. Also has a "slow-random" output where the change rate is more or less tied to the tempo.
