importing mp3 files, traktor strips my tags!

    just got traktor 3, and when importing my music folder, traktor strips all the genres out of my perfectly tagged 20000 strong music collection, thus really annoying me and wasting months of tagging work. Does anyone have a tag importing problem as well?
