Improved "Relocate missing tracks" / "Check Track Consistency"

After checking consistency of collection often my tracks are missing because I have changed filenames or folder structure.

There is far too many mouse clicks and choices involved in relocating the tracks, and it makes this very slow

Let me explain my workflow. I have most of my DJ-collection on in two folders, collection1 and collection2 (I cannot combine them into one folder for many reasons).

- I need to click like about 4-5 times in the browser before I find the collection1 (open browser, open computer, open hard disk1, choose folder)
- after this I need to wait very long time when it searches through my collection for new locations of the track
- I need to switch tab and then click again 4-5 times in the brower for collection2
- after this again a long wait


When I have finished relocating tracks, then I need to go to music folders and import collection1 and collection2 to my music collection so that Traktor will find my new tracks.

After this I need to "check consistency" again in order to identify that the new tracks are not analyzed, and then analyze them.



So what I am asking for is:
- new "check consistency" feature
- in addition to checking consistency it will automatically import new tracks from all "Music Folders", with the same click
- also it will automatically search for missing tracks from "Music Folders" if they have a new pace
- then you get the old and familiar screen but with much less missing tracks and you can search them with "relocate tracks" from windows browser.

 

I agree 100%, I also think that if your tracks are stored on an External Hard Drive that ? You should be ale to just select the the Hard Drive itself and, Traktor will relocate everything that's missing.
