    1. Print midi for arp/chord function.
-So that we can use that functionality in DAW, External Hardware Synths, VST's.

    2. COMPLETED THANKS NI!! Add favorite macro that adds current preset to a Favorites User Bank
-This is the only way I really feel someone can take advantage of the browser. Without a simple way of recalling, the patch just gets lost back in the vast array.

    3. Allow for custom chord sets [check out Cthulhu]
    4. Be able to use envelopes, wave shapes for the mod strip behavior. [check out Lemur template faderlab]
    5. Be able to change color of "active notes" A brighter blue is not really all that easy to differentiate.
    6. Holding [shift+preset up/down] act as preset incremental while in [midi mode]
    7. Global Voice allocation setting
-I keep running out of voices, each plugin has a different place where polyphony is set. Doesn't retain setting when edited. A global override would make life much easier.
    8. Ability to remove controller once it has been learned. (Selecting the menu item "default setting" doesn't remove the cc that was assigned.)
    9. For all the various ensembles that have an animated GUI to reflect the spectral information. Be nice to be able to mirror that on an external monitor, alternate monitor.
    10. Be able to hold down custom chord fingering for custom chords, with future recall.
    11. Be able to store custom sequences for the arp pattern.
    12. 5 consecutive clicks on the main shuttle wheel triggers panic
    13. [Shift + OCT-/OCT+] toggles through various mod strip modes while in [kontrol mode]
    14. Ability to invert incoming CC messages on a per software knob basis.
    15. Responsive GUI
    16. mod strip sync tempo with host tempo/beat.
    17. Keyboard zones for scale mode
    18. When a patch is selected, activate the tags associated with patch to give user feedback on the patch attributes.
    19. Midi out should work without a computer connection.
    20. [SHIFT + ENCODER1] controls rate of pitch strip osc
    21. [SHIFT + ENCODER2] controls rate of mod strip osc
    22. Optional Master Volume functionality to navigation knob? It doesn't do anything when its not in browse mode.
    23. Preset ratings
    24. Editable mappings
    25. Visual arp editor GUI
    26. A much wider range of scales with scala or tun import
    27. Cloud based user sharing of presets, arpeggios, sequences, custom scales, and chord sets with ratings
    28. FX support for creating complex chains
    29. Global setting for tuning freq ie.for people that use 444hz etc
    30. mode to be able to hit keys that are out of the scale. So I think there should be a scale setting that lights up the scale in question but also leaves all other keys functioning normally.
    31. Ability to change the functionality of the page buttons. [shift+page button] executes "misc"
    32. transpose by semitones [shift + oct-/oct+]
    33. control knob on the KKS keyboards should become the program changer when in midi mode,
    34. when in DAW mode the eight control knobs could be used as fader controls, maybe EQ's, they could follow the DAW fader settings via numerical display on the keyboard knob display. There could be banks of 8, 16, 24 etc using the left-right cursor buttons so the knobs match the DAW faders, depending on the track count.
    35. One idea i'd love to see if possible would be the introduction of an iOS app which can act as the KK browser similar to how Omnisphere works for ipad. This could allow you to place it next to the keyboard and either click presets directly or mirror the OSD browser when using the keyboard nav buttons. Possibly even allow the tagging of presets, control of parameters and marking as faves. It would allow users to actually get further away from their PC.

    Bug Fixes:
    1. Velocity envelopes don't seem to be working. I get the same behavior no matter which curve I select.
    2. Ableton loses focus on frozen tracks

I would like a logic preset that would link the 8 knobs up with logics smart controls so it works the same way as native map. Just the right amount of knobs :)

Would also like to see the libraries that are added in kontakt under the "add library" tab visible in kk browser even if it's under user.

^ yes to that! And the ability to search preset names would be nice.. So if I were to type "bell" all the presets with the word bell in it pop up.

 to all of the above and the ability for the keyboard to recognize NI instruments even if NOT selected through Komplete Kontrol Plugin in. (sometimes I already know what sound/plugin I am going to use and open that directly and then the keyboard just acts like a normal controler)

You can already do that. There is a search input box right above all the presets that are listed. enjoy!

Window resizing and general GUI improvements

Display of the chords that are being generated

Split keyboard when using NI plugins so you can have keyswitches fixed at the lower end and still move the playable part of the keyboard

Yes! There needs to be a "sync Komplete Kontrol" button on all preexisting instances of NI products. Going over remixes and projects that have NI Vsti's that I wish you could just push a sync button and KKS would take over.

all of these would be great... I'd would also like to see the mod strip to be able to sync to tempo with host tempo/beat.

    Hell yeah.
Especially as individual NI vsti are more flexible than their komplete kontrol twin.
I find myself not even using kk anymore. I feel like i just bought an expensive piece of midi keyboard to sometimes have the pretty lights.

Ability to transpose midi out to daw without kk software, this is major for players who transpose a lot ( play in one key)

ability to add chord sets of your own, keep it simple, press one button, play the chord- thats it. similar to korg m3

I really don't want to throw away my Mackie_Control_units when i work on Logic X with Kontrol S and MCUs in parallel. Please find a way that i can work with my MCUs and Kontrol S at the same time.

As a bare minimum I would like to see:

    Preset ratings
    Editable mappings
Much more accessible browser panel and attributes editor (resizable)
More arp options (eg random, more complex patterns)
    Visual arp editor
A much wider range of scales with scala or tun import

    Longer term it needs:

Multi instrument mode for layering etc
    Midi mappings for splits etc
FX support for creating complex chains
    Sequencer

Third party plugin support would be the icing on the cake

With that, I'd buy one. It would catch up with a piece of kit I already have. ;)

Logically I think that's where this leads, NI have finally acknowledged that NI users that want to be able to control their products don't all want or need a specialised beat making device. The problem with ditching Kore for Maschine is they replaced a generic controller for a much more niche one, and alienated a lot of their core user base in doing so. I'm hoping they will eventually see sense and separate the controller from the keyboard too - many people, myself included, simply do not need a new keyboard, just a decent up-to-date controller and sound manager. Whether or not we even get everything Kore has I don't know, it's possible NI will want to keep it NI products only, but imho that would be anomalous when Maschine does already support third party plugins. Many of their products including recent ones like Molecular offer some form of morphing, clearly NI like morphing (it's a great way of generating new sounds and having sounds that are alive and changing) so it would also make sense for such a controller to offer morphing capabilities. Kontrolore 3 here we come :)
