Improvements for next release: wish list for feature requests

I´d very much like to see a compact Komplete Kontrol Knob Box with auto-mapping of synth parameters to knobs and buttons for tactile control of common parameters.

 

Desktop version would be amazing!!! +10000

Since I didn't see the request in the first post, I thought I should mention it:

Pretty please with cream and cherry on top, can you make the sliders freely assignable to CC information? I personally use CC11 and CC1 in all of my productions and I would love to have them available on the M32 without having to wiggle knobs. I don't ever use a pitch wheel (which doesn't make sense as a slider anyway since you can't really see it's position) and I would love to replace it with something more useful.

Are we ever going to see this "feature" implemented?

I'm a loyal costumer since "Generator" but this is really making me angry!
I finally want to control my Hardware Synths with my KK S61 WITHOUT the need to have the KK connected to my MacBook... by this time I would be happy if at least I could change the KK Presets so I can use it on different MIDI-Channels!
I have to downsize my Studio and would like to keep my KK S61 and get rid of my Arturia Keylab MK2 61 but... that's just so annoying !

For the love of god NI, please allow Maschine MK3 to kontrol komplete kontrol! I gave up on Maschine software a while ago. Now I have a 600$ doorstop I really want the S49 but I simply don’t have the desk space.. So if buy the M32 I want to be able to use Maschine screens, make sense?

I’m really hoping that this “One Native” will bring this feature ASAP!

 

I would like to configure my newly acquired A49, and set the MIDI OUT channel to a value other than 1. And save it. In the A49. To be used without a computer.
Why the MIDI setup is fixed, is beyond me.

I hope they don´t change the Style/Look or Design of the Komplete S49/61.

 

Seriously! Just posted about this to find out that it's not a feature. Did they run out of time while working on the midi functionality?!

 

I would like:

1. Layering VSTS
2. Midi keyboard splits.
3. Organizing patches into set lists.
4. Ram allocation mode to load sets into Ram to facilitate quicker changing of patches (with some way to tweak)

 

Instruments layering would be really awesome!! But probably too resource intensive I hope they can they can find a way! Also some sort of “ram disk” would be killer.

 

I'm hoping for a huge update!!! It's time!!

Native Access is the most finicky program. It sucks. Especially with Catalina OS. 4 days into trying every GD thing that's suggested and now, Somehow its installing everything but I have to restart each time I run out of system storage space. IDK if its apple or NI but this sucks. It makes me want to break this damn MacBook and punt this stupid NI komplete hard drive into the street.

 

About ten days ago MacUpdater (running on macOS 10.15.5) started showing Komplete Kontrol 2.4.0 as the "Newest Version" available but it wouldn't show up in Native Access. Then a few days later it disappeared, leaving 2.3.0 as the current version.

This version also had a build number, and MacUpdater works at least in part by asking users to allow their machines to submit version number of software they're running, so I assume someone either in the Beta program or at NI was briefly using a version intended for release that was then swiftly pulled.

So I guess it's coming "soon" (?) and it's a proper point release as opposed to a v 2.3.x.

 

Lemme have full control over tagging, including banks. Let me assign a generic control map for a plugin and apply it to all presets if wanted, or indeed apply different mappings to a bank, a folder or whatever. And lemme resize the goddamn bloody KK window...

edit - and a custom chord editor would be nice, similar to Arturia. Press record, hold the chord down and then have that custom chord playable.
edit2 - and.... a way of turning on and off steps in the arp, similar to the Novation MK3 would be very cool. That's a very creative feature right there...

1. Im using reaper and the volume / pan integration is brilliant. Any chance of being able to control sends in the same way across tracks rather than all the different sends on the same track. Maybe shift mixer (or available button) to enter send modeand then use 4d knob to select send or banks of sends and then the buttons at the top could selct send and the knobs to control levels.

2. Id like to be able to disable the exit midi mode when another track is selected. The software assumes that Ill want to go back to nks mode. Theres no check box to disable this behaviour.

3. Choose secondary colour rather than brighter colour for playback on light guide.

4. Transpose function.

Good day. I want to suggest you again to add other sorting modes of instruments within Komplete Kontrol. I think that sorting them alphabetically is good but I would like being able to sort them by chance for example too in order not to always use instruments that begin with the letter a or b first all the time. Maybe you could invent other sorting methods too in order the browsing doesn't start with letter a in the alphabet all the time... instruments with a p or u in the beginning I mostly don't even reach, because I'm always ending up with letters c or d maybe... thanks for improving and offering other searching methods too!!!
