IN APP PURCHASE IDEAS

I think we've all realized that ni need to make some money out of the app. (Hopefully they could employ some more people to the ios development team at some point).
Let's try give them some in app purchase ideas in this thread. Maybe we can email it to 'the right person' in the end. If you've ever seen Cross dj on Android, they're literally trying to charge you for anything and everything!! Extra effects, activating midi controllers, to a sample pad etc etc.
Please don't post about the updates or bugs etc etc here.
Let's try and keep it simple and realistic.

WHAT IN APP PURCHASE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE ???

 

What would you pay for ??


1. check mark next to already played songs

2. original bpm shown of songs

 

3. A full page playlist browser option

 

4. A sampler (that can quantize to the beat) that we can load our own samples .

 

5. Star rating in browser (cross dj already does this)

 

a) midi clock IN/OUT.
b) Pitch Faders on the app without s2 connected
c) Granular sampler like SAMPLR (I imagine that superslicer had the ability of doing all of what SAMPLR do, so, go further more with super slicer )
d) audio input Deck Slot, with same FX of Decks

Pitch faders has got to be a money spinner for ni !! All those people without a controller !!!

 

hey man, why you bother reading forum posts if you've no good Ideas to increase the power of your tools? I know you're hungry for NI HW and SW related problems, but please, be constructive... bless...

Mic input for thoughs with s2 s4 and DVS control for decks and CDJ

 

Access to music charts - iTunes, shazam , spotify

 

Auto mix - I have to make loo break extended mixes of songs just so I can run for it in the middle of my set - every night!! Auto mix is a no brainer that would save the day .

 

Bounce loop - it's really fun to use and I'd love to see it in TDJ

 

Have you ever tried to mix classical music with jazz, with dub, with jungle? have you ever tried to build abstract ambient music slowing down pitch to -70% and using delay on the slowed track? please, open your mind, Yess, I'm a bot, a bot to kill your Brain with my music experimentation amenities... all these forum trolls are really boring....

 

What is this "bounce loop" you speak of? I have never heard of it.

 

I will second the midi in/out... my pal and I are running two Traktor dj's, mixing them by ear, but i'd be nice to have a master/slave paradigm, I would pay top dollar for that in-app purchase. I'd also love to be able to use the remix decks on my S2 with TDJ, as I would be the first to purchase an x1 so I could bring in some ableton style sequencing.

 

And you sound like a total tool, might as well just change your name now to "ImATool."

 

I thought up a really simple in-app purchase that I would love to own - simple sound effect, analog brake/ vinyl stop sound effect when stopping a track, toggle it on or off in the settings, I'd pay for it.

 

Some really useful ideas here !! I'd also pay to have the option to preview a song without loading it on a 'deck' . And I would also pay for a temporary playlist queue system like in Djay - take all your requests on the night and have em ordered right in front of you !!

 

how about some EFX1000 pioneer X-PAD section....roll sampler very fun for me )
