i love ideas... its given all my old beats NEW LIFE!!!! i can arrange and rearrange. I've opened several of my trash project and made them shine like GOLD!!!

    But ALAS!!!!

"Ideas" would be complete for me if i could use it to build patterns adding instruments and individual sounds from here too...

    just an "idea"

i imagine a sort of group ideas (or group lock like) so you could browse and replace any sound or effect and twiks and then hold it or come back to original one . (and why not a third hand with five brand new fingers ? )

no exactely but build your kit or group , changing a sample , a massive preset or what ever , and then come back to your first set , exactly as for lock function

yeah, something like how he said it. like you can choose patterns you have already made, but the pattern list can stack up very fast and searching through all the variations you have made... when i would rather be able to hear multiple vsarions without having to commit..... kinda like how they have the scenes now.... i don't have to commit to a scene, i have to commit to the patterns in said scenes and group though. if that makes since

    Oh.. that would be cool.
Sounds like a major feature tho, i don't think i ever saw something similar in other software, also sounds technically challenging to implement, lock in its current state is pretty simple it stores a "internal preset" and morphes in and out of them; reverting samples and instruments would be a lot more complicated.
You could duplicate the group, mute the original, experiment at will and just delete the new one in case you don't like the results but like you said things can get messy if its a big project with a lot going on.
