Inconsistent Drag & Drop Behaviour

Has anyone had problems dragging and dropping tracks to new playlists?

Scenario:

1) Create Playlist called say, MyPlaylist
2) In Collection, I select a few tunes and drag and drop onto MyPlaylist.
3) Repeat say, 2 -3 times with new tunes.
4) On the 4th attempt, the tracks do not add to MyPlaylist.
5) I can create another playlist called say, AnotherPlaylist
6) I can add tracks to AnotherPlaylist but cannot add any to MyPlaylist
7) If I again add, say 2 -3 times, tracks to AnotherPlaylist the same behaviour occurs.
8) On around the 4th attempt, I can no longer add tunes to AnotherPlaylist.

9) The only way to resolve is to shut down and restart TSP.

Am I mising the wood for the trees or is anyone else having this issue?

 

The Drag-n-Drop issue has been reported from many fronts.

Hopefully, there will be some relief in the next update..

Don't I know it. I do hope it gets solved but some good workaroinds have been posted.

I should have checked the forum more thoroughly before threading as there was 1 thread started already, so that is my bad - that said, the 2 threads started on the subject after this one weren't entirely necessary either!

Im having this issue and IT SUCKS LARGE !

I play a lot of requests when I play out and I have made a playlist where I put all the requests... And I can drag a few tracks there but then it just stops working all together... I can't drag new tunes to any folder after the first few drags... It's a total drag.

I really need that fixed.

 

can only confirm the problems. Only workaround is restarting, sometimes more then once and that is not solution in live situation.
