    hey there : )..

a quick little problem i have been having is that some songs dont get the correct bmp analized.. a handful of songs in my collection say they are like 60 bpm or something when i know they are about 130 bpm.. anyone else noticed this and if so have any solutions etc..

    thanks ! : )

    1) narrow bpm detection range in the preferences to make it appropriate to the files you are analysing eg. 115-130bpm and reanalyse
    2) use the x2 and /2 buttons in the advanced tab to double/halve your track tempos
    3) set your beatgrids manually. See one of the countless youtube videos/threads on this forum about this

Yeah this happens sometimes. In addition to lethal_puzzle's advice you can use the Tap command. If you're lucky Traktor will quantize your taps and find the precise BPM based on your input. If you're unlucky it will take your taps literally which will be slightly off and you'll have more adjustment to do.

Some of my songs are between 60-70 and also as high as 160-170 so I expanded the range slightly. For the majority of the tracks, they show up as half tempo or one BPM off which is very frustrating.

Coming from VDJ, I got tired of incorrect BPM's after moving to traktor.

I just downloaded rapid evolution 3 and I'm using it now to detect KEY AND BPM and have it SAVE TO TAG. That way, traktor will then load the correct info.

Check out rapid evolution 3, I found that version 2.whatever was buggy and wouldn't work right.
