Sometimes controller autofocus to what whatever group, sound or menu a user selects is undesirable, some independence options would be cool.
    • Ability to lock a group/sound to a specific controller.
Example 1: Finger drumming on an MK3 while playing a synth in Jam/KK-S from another a group, each controller locked to a different sound/group.
Example 2: Lock Jam to a group while the MK3 remains unlocked has normal focus behavior.

It could be either a Lock feature or just plain independent control where selecting a Sound/Group in one controller would not affect another, one of the controllers could have software priority over whats displayed on the computer screen.

Oh Yes please on Maschine Studio too, that would be awesome, to really Jam and make a live video while playing keyboard on a group, then switch the patterns on the others...

+1 from me on this one too. I've made a short video to show you how easily it can mess up live performance without this feature....

I think similar solution to Ableton's arm/focus would do the job. Or even better, a simple global option "Switch group when selecting patterns - ON/OFF" would be perfect.

I'm not sure if this has enough support to be on the sticky yet...

But i think if i want to use NI products for live setup i guess i would want to use them all in sync but in different modes like: MK3 for drums kk mk2 for piano, and Jam to change patterns/scenes/sounds and to perform on the strip.
i'm still knew to NI products and i'm absolutely digging them
    well done

i was really baffeled and midly angered when i discovered this is not popssible.
what use is it to have all the controls on the mk3 mirrored on the jam? i cant think of any. why would you buy an extra controller for hundreds of dollars that isn't able to control something different than the first one at the same time? this makes absolutely no sense! is anybody testing these workflows with the possible device combinations at all?
just let me have group levels on the jam while i fiddle with the macros on the mk3. it's not that this is some exotic feature request only 10 persons would have use for. can't be so hard, can it?

In the meantime the only workaround for this is to open 2 Instances of Maschine vst in a Daw. It works OK but it would be so much better to have the option in standalone

I'll just add that for this to make sense one of the Controllers has to be the Master so the software knows what to display on the computer screen, I forgot to mention it on the OP but I think it kind of goes without saying...

Do you then route one VST into the other VST's channels to use FX?
