Input-1 only sends audio to my left speaker

I have a MIDI out track sending notes to an external piece of gear which is sending audio via 1/4inch to my presonus audiobox (In-1)

The Audio-Out track in maschine is currently only sending audio through 1 speaker (out 1). I think this is due to only being able to select In-1 as a mono mix.

In ableton, I noticed I am able to select an Input and have it go through both speakers by having the program create a stereo mix of the mono signal. Is there any way I am able to do this in Maschine?

Get split y 1/4 cables to get input in channel 1/2

Robbie - that would be quite impractical, considering ableton is able to allow me to take In-1 as a mono mix. Why can't maschine do it?

Ya I don't like having to go out and get special cables just cause maschine can't do mono mix. Hopefully figure it out next update :/ like so many other things

Is this seriously a missing function from maschine, without any means via software to fix?

for now you could just slap a VST on the master that will sum to mono, not ideal but workable, it's easy enough to switch VSTs on/off with the controller...

stereo tools vst plugin(freeware), put that on the group, or sound that you are using for your input channel. Its the best freeware one that acually works that I found.

Its easy to do without a plugin: "You can't monitor a left or right input channel at the center using a sound input, neither in Maschine 1 or 2.
But, in Maschine 2 you can specify the input to be mono on the sampling page and if you switch monitoring on, you can ear it at the center while doing something else. Not in Maschine 1."
