I have been using Traktor for 6 years now, first with an S4 and then quickly upgraded to an S8. For most genres, the analyzation algorithm is probably accurate, however, in my preferred genre of Drum n' Bass, the analyzation algorithm is not very accurate. Which means that I have to manually change the beat grid for every song I import. I'm used to that now and can get through songs very quickly......

I recently streamed a set on Monday 5/10, PRIOR TO BETA INSTALLATION. I downloaded and installed the 3.5 Beta on Tuesday 5/11, anxiously awaiting the opportunity to test out LINK integration. ***During my testing, I noticed a few things that I will submit posts on at a different time.

It appears that during the collection import process, Traktor RESET ALL MY MANUAL BEATGRIDS! The strangest thing is that when I load a song, the grid is aligned with the "1" grid/cue (as per my settings), but the remainder of the cue points are not aligned to this grid. I closed the beta and reopened Traktor 3.4.2 only to realize it changed all the beatgrids in the collection permanently.

I now have to regrid over 3,000's songs!

    OSX Big Sur 11.2.3
    Traktor 3.4.2 256
    Traktor 3.5.0 263

Did you not read this post and the attached PDF? Always back up your collection, especially before installing betas.

You're very helpful. I did. Unfortunately, I backed up the playlists but not the collection.....horrible oversight.....

Doesn't change the fact that the beta installation changes the manual grid entries.

TRAKTOR creates a backup of you Collection on every session.
If you look into the folder: .../Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor 3.4.2/Backup/Collection
you should find one of these backups, unless you restarted 3.4.2 over 10 times since you observed the loss of your Beatgrids.

Thank you for replying and trying to help Friedemann @ NI . Using the "open with...." function, I opened all three pre-beta install collection backup files with Traktor 3.4.2 and unfortunately, these backup collection grid's have also been altered in the same manner. I have 3 backup collections; 1 for ".......2021y05m09d...." and 2 for ".....2021y05m10d....". The beta install was on 5/11, which corresponds with the ".......2021y05m11d....." backup files, respectively.

......was surprised i even have those backup collection files available. normally i use Traktor on a daily basis but since the loss of my grid's, I've barely touched it.
