Installing apps / plugins without sound libraries?

Hi!

I need to work away from home for a month, and I need all my music software with me. I need to transfer everything to a laptop.

With my desktop computer, I already have all my NI sound libraries on an external drive. Is it possible to install just the apps or plugins to the laptop and then point to the external drive for the sound libraries?

I have a huge amount of all kinds of plugins. It would be an insane job, if I had to download and install all libraries again.

Any ideas are appreciated!

Try the Native Access mode first,with different settings/routing etc, to see what would be viable.

Also,user content and/or Snapshots may (?) need to be loaded manually....

Make sure you only log into one account at a time....either the desktop or the laptop.
