    Anybody done this??

Seen any significant differences speed wise? Project loading times, initial program startup, loading vst plugins, etc??

Just got a new Asus ROG GL752 but the specific one I got it didnt come with the ssd installed..
Tried getting one installed today and the technician said that the SSD I bought (sold to me at their store....... telling me it was gonna be compatable ...) ended up not being compatible with my system .If someone happens to know what problem im facing with the specific laptop model and ssd aftermarket installation, PLEASE contact me lol...)

ANYWAY just wanted to know if it was worth it to pay about 100$ more for the specific SSD I need to run Maschine at lightning speeds. Not sure if this is even possible. Help appreciated!

    Thanks !

You might find some hints here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?79590-Issue-with-M-2-SSD-in-ASUS-ROG-GL752VW

But it's best to contact ASUS support about SSD model compatibility directly.

Getting a SSD in general is definitely a speed upgrade worth the money.

    Hi Chef Goyar-D,

Yes I would definitely get yourself a SSD is you don't mind paying the extra $$ for it, it will make your whole system faster for sure not just your Maschine program.

I have Maschine installed along with Komplete 10 and it opens very fast and there is barely any wait time at all for anything so its a good investment and will be far faster than a traditional "mechanical" hard drive.

Just make sure if you are planning in the future to get any large libraries (Komplete, lots of Maschine expansions etc) that you get a SSD with plenty of room on it then you dont run in to the problem of not being able to fit everything on that you want to.
