Installing Maschine v1.5.0 with library on a different harddrive

I am trying to install Maschine v1.5.0 on my Mac Pro but I get the following error:

The library cannot be updated, because the content has not yet been installed on this computer.

I have Maschine v.1.10.025 installed on my computer. When I try to run the Library updater v1.0 I get the same error as above. When I installed Maschine the first time from disk, I opted to have the library installed on another harddrive than my system drive and it looks now that the updater doesn't recognize the library is already on my computer.

How to get around this problem?

Run Maschine in standalone and check the library path in preferences. Rescan the library. Reboot your system and run the 1.5 update again. Done.

Thanks, but I had tried this already without any success. When Maschine is started the library content is accessible still, but the update keep on giving me problems.

Any other options to go around this?

I recently installed a new hard drive , can i just go into my documents and drop the maschine library into that drive without any issues and just rescan from the program ?

Sure. Start up Maschine as a standalone and reset the library path in preferences. Then, rescan.

I rescannend the library and managed to instal everything successfully! Thanks for your help.

Only little thing was that I couldn't install the the v1.5 Library content on the same harddrive as the other library, but had to install it on the same drive as where Machine is installed. Can you please tell me the standard path the v1.5 library has been installed to?

It should have installed automatically to where your other library installed :~
I'm not sure where the default is on a Mac; I'm guessing it's probably in Library/Application Support.
