    Hello together,

due to some technical/software difficulties with my Macbook Pro it seems wise to install OSX again without using the migration assistant. I have everything backed up on an external drive.
Now my question is this: I have all my KOMPLETE and MASCHINE libraries on that external disks, can I just drag and drop them to my MBP? What would happen to my licenses? Would I need to register/unregister with NI again? Hope it works as easy as I hope.
The other technical question: Is it better to actually re-install all NI products or just drag and drop them like the library folders?

    Feedback highly appreciated,
    L.

I would strongly advise you to perform a fresh install. Nothing good will come from moving libraries/drag n drop. Trust me.

Don't worry about the licensing, it's a none issue. Just make sure you have all of your serial/key information, which is also accessible from your NI online account in case you lost the card that has that info.
