Please let me know if this is redundant. I have not seen anything for this in regards to a Mac migration and TSP2 activation.

I just got a new MBP. I did the Mac "Migration" and all my settings and softwares are installed and working, even Traktor. However, Traktor needs to be registered. Everything is backed up, all my pervious versions of Traktor are copied over and installed (TSP 1.2.7, TSP2, etc...and Service Center). When I open TSP2 the window pops up for me to Activate. I click on "Activate" and another window says "Service Center can not be found. Please run the product installer again to install Service Center".

As far as I can see everything is up and running fine. TSP2 runs fine (tracks analyzed and cued with playlists), Service Center is up (however no products are showing - yes I am signed in). What did I do wrong?

Your help is much appreciated! :)

    specs:
    MBP - Lion 10.7
    2.0ghz Quad
    4g memory
    TSP2 2.1.2

Sounds like something happened to your service center. Download the latest version off the NI website and install it and see if that helps.

Can you post the link for this. I went on NI's site last night to do this but could not find the appropriate page for this. I kept getting the run around with all these links.

Is it also possible it isn't working (or showing) because I still have TSP2 installed on my old Mac? Should my products still show in Service Center regardless...maybe a warning that I can't activate since I have it installed somewhere else?

    Thanks for your help!

You need to login to the Support pages and Service Centre is in the Free Updates Section.

Reinstalling SC is the first step as it fixes 99% of all activation issues.

Products on your new Mac will not show in SC unless they are installed.

Everything is installed as mentioned above. I opened TSP 1.2.7 and TSP2 2.1.2 and both work (demo mode). I will try uninstalling and installing Service Center again.

I reinstalled Service Center. I no longer get the pop-up window that says "Service Center can not be found. Please run the product installer again to install Service Center". However, TSP2 quites, service center opens, and still no products are listed. It also says in green that "All products are activated".

Where do I go from here?

When you click on the "Update" tab do you not see spaces to enter the serial numbers ?

So I'm almost there. I uninstalled 1.2.7 and reinstalled - its activated and working. After I uninstalled/reinstalled it showed up in Service Center and I was able to enter the KEY. Still TSP2 is not showing up. So....

Now I'm trying to reinstall TSP2/2.1.2 but this pops up "No previous installation found.
Please run the full product installer before running this update installer." i event tried installed 2.0.3 and I got the same pop-up. Am I missing a crucial install of TSP2?

Use the demo of V2. Install that and then activate with your serial number.
