Installing VST Komplete

    Hello,
    I have been using Komplete with ProTools 10 and therefore never installed anything other than AAX and RTAS plugins. I would like now to add the VST plugins to my installation but I don't want to make a fresh reinstall of Komplete. I figured that I can just pop in the installer DVD and that way I will be able to update the missing VST plugins and instruments. The DVD installer recognizes that I have never installed products (obviously) so I am afraid that by choosing a new installation it will overwrite everything. Is there a way to just add the VST installers without erasing AAX ?
    I hope that someone can help me here. I am on Win 7

    Just run Komplete setup again and when it asks you which plugin formats to install just make sure all the formats you wish to use are checked. (Check the list carefully, because I've seen NI installers accidentally check the wrong boxes on updates before.)

    It will only uninstall existing items if you deselect them in the installer, and it will only install files that are not already on your system.
