Are there instructions anywhere for the Spiral Ensemble?

Also, Id like to find a tutorial on how to make a simple effect plug in with the built in modules.

I basically want to create simple filter and equalizer ensembles with audio in as the sound source.

Haven't found any examples in the libraries as of yet. Did a few tutorials in the manuals, I don't see an effects tutorial anywhere.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

Found the spiral instructions on the forum. So it basically generates MIDI messages. Thats pretty neat.

As for an effects tutorial, nope, none in the manuals. With some luck, I'll find something in the library to use as a guide.

There are all of these basic effects, It will be nice to just have them all there as an audio in plug. How nice would it be to have all of the filters and half a dozen equalizers ready to go?

    Thanks again.

Well, just insert the macro/instrument, connect the audio ins/outs & save the ensemble.

Just to clarify when you run the service centre and look at the the updates available for reaktor, Spiral is there ready to be downloaded for anyone not finding it easily.

    ^ Thank you :D
Have been googling the hell out of my iPhone while I'm at work tryna get hold of it! Don't finish work for another hour and thought I'd have to wade through the manual tryna find it. I know, I know, I should be checking the manual anyway but I've been having so much fun since I bought it Saturday that I haven't had chance. Thanks again

Thats working great. That'll be enough to make an effects rack. I can't seem to get filter envelopes to work, though.

I guess I have to pass the audio through the envelope as well to get it to work. Just using an envelope to trigger modulation for the filter freq cuttoff has not worked as of yet, tried a bunch of different things.

    Thanks.

Ok, I've routed Spiral's MIDI out to a synth MIDI IN and if I start reaktor int clock, I can hear the synth playing according to Spiral but there is this extra cheap piano sound coming from Spiral that I do not need. How do I turn it off? Thanks.

That's a general-midi piano sound, uncheck channel1 in the internal-midi drop-down. Best to do that then save the ensemble, otherwise you'll have to do it every single time you open Spiral up.

Hi, I just bought Reaktor a few days ago, the download version. Spiral was the first thing I wanted to check out. I couldn't find it in the browser, and now have found your mention of being able to get it from the Service Center. But I don't see anything about this in the Service Center. All that was available in the Service Center related to Reaktor was the Reaktor 5.1.5 update. So, I am still wondering where I can find Spiral. Help would be appreciated.

There are three tabs on the update page, did you check them all ? Software updates/manual and tutorial downloads, and content downloads. Maybe check the other two lol :)

Oh, right! I had missed the "Content Downloads" tab at the bottom. Not really sure how I missed that - I'd even looked carefully, I thought - but now that i know it's there it's pretty obvious where to look. Thanks.
