intakt crashes cubase SX 2.0

    I've some problems running Intakt 1.01 with Cubase SX 2.01 (Windows XP). After a few seconds of playing intakt samples or loops the systems hangs. I've also tried different ASIO setups in SX - nothing works. Other VST Instruments (XPhrase, GrooveAgent, ...) are working fine.

    My configuration:

    - Intakt 1.01
    - Cubase SX 2.01
    - Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro (latest drivers)
    - Pentium IV 3.00 GHz, HT
    - Asus P4C 800 Deluxe Mainboard
    - 1024 MB RAM

    has anyone some ideas?

    I am facing the same problem (... having nearly the same configuration ...) :-(. In some cases, Intakt running as a VSTi under SX 2.0 also "freezes" the PC so that it has to be reset.

    INTAKT is NOT USABLE FOR SX 2.0!!!!!!

    I have tried everything. It is not my setup so I am not going to bother posting all the equipment my pc has. I have tried every possible configuration and the VSTi just does not work. PERIOD. End of Story. I have to say this is highly disappointing. I am wondering if Kontakt 1.5 will exibit the same unacceptable performance.

    NI!!!! ARE YOU AWARE OF THESE ISSUES? WHAT AND WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX IT????

    It's not my system so don't even go there. Phatmatik Pro works just fine and so does the rest of my VST's.

    I am finding it impossible to use Intakt with SX2. I save a project with Intakt 1.01 in beatslicer mode (wave loop file loaded and sliced) as a VSTi, then shut down SX 2. I open SX2 again and Intakt plays back the slices at a seemingly random tempo with a chunk of what appears to be a solid audio at the end of the file, which is clearly some sort of a bug.

    This chunk does not produce any sound when played via the keyboard or the wave display. No matter what I do (apart from erasing zone and reloading file) the playback order does not change and the chunk in the last slice does not disappear. More often than not Intakt will then crash SX2. Therefore I cannot use Intakt in sx2 projects that i want to save.

    Any news of an update would be most welcome, as I'm beginning to wonder why I overlooked Phatmatik Pro.
