1. Hi everyone,

Apple just released Logic Pro 10.5 for MacOS 10.15. We found out that Crush Pack, Mod Pack, Replika, and Replika XT will crash.

Our teams are currently working on a fix, and we hope to have this out to you as soon as we can!

    Best wishes,
    The NI Team

I write to the Stanton Final Scratch Support for asking when the updates comes out for Intel Mac Os.
    The answer was in 3 - 6 months !!!!!
Apple sell the Intel Macs since January 2006 !!!!!
By the way Serato runs very good on Intel Mac OS.
-> So I have to use Windows XP with Boot Camp on my MacBook. (with 2 Ghz Duo)
It's working, but I can't say that it works perfect.
I got crackles (every few minutes). I turn the wireless lan and bluetooth of but the crackles hold on.
I make 2 shows now with it (for about 3 hours) and I have at both times a drop out for about 3-5 seconds -> The fire wire symbol in traktor turn red. Except that, it works.
I don't know if this are beginning Problems. ( before I got the MacBook I work with an PC Laptop. At the beginning with the PC Laptop I got also problems, but later it runs perfectly...)

-> The installation of Boot Camp is very easy. By the way you don't have to search for the drivers, there in the Boot Camp package...

Here is the e mail from the Final Scratch 2 support with Boot Camp installation help:

Unfortunately we are still looking at 3-6 months for a fully compatible
version to be running on the native osx. We do however; have a
temporary solution for you if you see below:

    Macintosh releases Boot Camp!

Which means that FS 2.0 is now compatible with the Mac Book Pro’s! You
will still need to load up Windows as the native OS FS will currently
run on, however you can now use FS with your new Mac Book Pro’s. We are
also currently working on a version running natively on Macintosh OS as

    As elegant as it gets
Boot Camp lets you install Windows XP without moving your Mac data,
though you will need to bring your own copy to the table, as Apple
Computer does not sell or support Microsoft Windows.(1) Boot Camp will
burn a CD of all the required drivers for Windows so you don't have to
scrounge around the Internet looking for them.

Optional alt. At startup, hold down the option key (alt) to choose
between Mac OS X and Windows.
    Run XP natively
Once you’ve completed Boot Camp, simply hold down the option key at
startup to choose between Mac OS X and Windows. (That’s the “alt” key
for you longtime Windows users.) After starting up, your Mac runs
Windows completely natively. Simply restart to come back to Mac.
    What you’ll need
§ Mac OS X Tiger v10.4.6 (check Software Update)
§ The latest Firmware update (check Support Downloads)
§ 10GB free hard disk space
    § An Intel-based Mac
    § A blank recordable CD
§ A printer for the instructions (You’ll want to print them before
    installing Windows, really.)
§ A bona fide installation disc for Microsoft Windows XP, Service
Pack 2, Home or Professional (No multi-disc, upgrade or Media Center

one posting is enough, and... this is not new, isnt it??!
bootcamping is what the macbook users do as workaround all the time...

and dont mix up traktor and finalscratch. these are different products. traktor's UB will be released this month (as scheduled).
