arpeggiators, chord mode, polyphonic TR/step sequencing, record mutes/tempo changes, event lists, audio tracks are all features that are well documented in old school products, yet completely missing...

Dont for one second think that we even would have had timestretching and a decent sampler if there wasnt total poopstorms in this forum years ago!..

Yep. Maschine is about workflow, you you keep talking about your workflow. No one cares what your workflow. I know I don't. However your workflow doesn't speak for everybody and in every conversation that has to do with Maschine you take the opportunity to bring up your workflow preferences as essential to making music. They are not, that is what you deem essential and that's nice for you, but there are people who have made more with much less that what Maschine offers.

As for what Ski does or doesn't do is up to him. He uses Maschine as is. I'm sure he would like more features but again you miss the point. My point wasn't that Ski would/could/should want features, my point is that he actually uses the tool as is. He doesn't have to go to a forum and lament that one feature that was never part of the feature-set isn't there. You bought Maschine as it was, why complain about what it can't do? Did you not do your research when you bought it? For the upteenth time. Why pay for something that doesn't do what you need it to do? If the benefits outweigh the negatives, why not focus on the benefits of Maschine and leave the whining at home? The constant whining and bitching has become shrill at this point.

Also the stupidest line you ever said was this:

it's a nonsensical statement that one has nothing to do with what we are talking about and two is as loaded as a statement about religion, ie. very subjective and made to inflame the person you are debating rather than actually debating. To counter you sound like Fox News right now.

How about you keep focus on the topic at hand and stop bringing up bullshit statements as argument, because they are not.

using it (not those of us in this conversation), we all use it for what it can do and not what it can't do, we all make music.

for the upteenth time I use maschine for what I do use it for, not for what it does not do, I recommend maschine to people for what it does , not for what it doesn't do, I tell people they shouldn't replace maschine for another piece of gear that does not do what maschine does.... you're not making any point by acting like reality is something other than it is.

I never said what is essential for me is essential for you. like i said you're playing dumb and not telling the truth and you are detracting.

 

just read something else you said, ok so my opinion is shrill for you, ok then why do you keep showing up in threads where people express opinions similar to mine, what's the point. If I'm in a room with a shrill sound I leave the room, this thread or other threads discussing maschine features are not forcing you to be in them.

 

I said the constant whining is shrill, not stating your opinion. However take a look at you post history to see how often you state your opinion (sometimes on completely unrelated topics) and how many time you often state your opinions as facts and will go after those who don;t agree with you. I'm all about fairness. If I'm arguing with someone on a forum it's because I believe a statement is unfair of non-factual.

Also I was in this topic way before you even came on it so I'm not sure what you are talking about. You responded to me remember? So it begs the question why are you here, responding to me? Am I supposed to leave because someone won;t STFU? I'maddressign you, because you have addressed me. Otherwise I wouldn't bother going into an argument with you. If you took the whining comment as me talking about you, well that speaks more about you than me.

I have never said anyones feature request on this forum is non- essential, how many times have you said it? and I certainly never said that the features that are essential for me are for you, I don't even know what kind of music you make.... you are not fair and you are not telling the truth.

 

Well, one thing that was true in this thread was the comment about threads like this going nowhere.
