Introducing Rekordcloud: Clean or convert your collection and many more features

Hi guys,

After months of hard work, I just released https://rekord.cloud for Traktor and Rekordbox DJ's.

You can use it to clean your library (fix those ugly titles!) or rename all your genres so they finally make sense. There's a tool to find tracks that are similar to what you're playing now, with advanced options. Or you can convert your library to/from Rekordbox/Traktor.

It also supports easy sharing of playlists, shuffling playlists and re-ordering them by multiple columns.

This has got my attention.

Can it do anything that MP3Tag or BeaTunes cannot?

 

MP3Tag can do a lot of easy batch editing, but rekordcloud is more aimed for DJ's using Rekordbox and Traktor.

One of the things you can do is very easily rename all your genres so they are the same everywhere, for example turning "Drum&Bass", "Dnb", "Drum and bass" into "Drum & Bass" for all matching tracks in just a few clicks.

Another feature made precisely for DJ's is to convert all your keys to the Camelot notation. Wether they are in Rekordbox format, Traktor format or musical notation, it can all be converted to Camelot in 1 click.

Then there is the Similar Tracks feature with which you can find tracks in your entire library that meet your criteria, e.g. match color/key/tempo or genre. It's like an advanced version of the traffic light system in Rekordbox.
