    For the first time ever in my 8 years of using Traktor and participating in betas for the last few years, I finally got an "invalid collection" bomb. I had to manually import the collection. Need to figure out how to re-import playlists.

    M1 MacBook Air, macOS 12.0.1.

    Otherwise it seems OK? :p

    Hey kokernutz - if you still have your corrupted collection, could you pls. check the following:

    Open the file with a text editor and go to its very end.
    There you find the indexing section enclosed by the brackets:

    <INDEXING>
    ….
    </INDEXING>

    Please delete this entire section, save and restart TRAKTOR.
    Let us know if this fixed the corruption of your collection.

    It's great to hear that the fix worked, but it's also concerning that it happened in the first place.

    Whatever you can remember causing this issue could be helpful for us.
    The other user reporting this issue mentioned closing the lid of his laptop without closing TRAKTOR beforehand and also switching between users on his computer - but it also happened to him only once so far.

    I've been installing the betas as your released them.

    For this crash, all I did was install the beta and launch it, and it crashed during startup. I do have Traktor run a consistency check on startup.

    Got the same issue on MacBook Pro (late 2013 / Catalina 10.15.7) twice.
    After installing RC my collection got invalid. Before the second start of Traktor I switched the invalid collection with my backup collection and Traktor read the collection. After restarting Traktor this collection also got invalid.
    Then again, I used my backup collection and started Traktor again. This time, I deleted the collection file while Traktor was running and created a new file via right-click on track collection. The new created file worked fine after restarts.

    This issue didn't happened on the new MacBook Pro (2021 / Monterey 12.1 beta3).

    I read it, I thought it wouldn't touch me. But... For the first time, it also broke my collection with the same message, after updating to RC 3.5.2 295. Rolled back to 3.5.2 279 and to the last backup of the collection. There were no problems on that beta.
