invalid serial for activating traktor pro 2

Hi guys,
i had bought traktor kontrol S4 recently. i use mac book with 4GB RAM running snow leopard 10.6.8. i installed Traktor pro 2 DVD which came along Traktor S4 box! i registered the software using the provided serial No.
My serial number is 1***1-8***3-06**8-43***-4***2 through the service center but i didn't get any activation key.
it installed traktor pro 2 software,traktor kontrol S4 driver, controller editor etc. and, after restarting when i double clicked the traktor icon which is situated in the native instruments folder, it asks for demo/buy/activate.
so, i uninstalled traktor pro 2 and tried to re install it, but, now it says invalid key. i don't know what to do. kindly help!

 

There are many threads on this already. The DVD has Traktor S4. The key is for Pro 2. Download the demo of pro 2 and use your key to activate it.

This issue seems to be misleading a lot of people, and causing un-needed frustration. I too had the same problem, and also resorted to posting on here which did solve the problem.

Why is this happening though, surely the right software should be sent with the bundle package.
