IOS 13 iMaschine issues

Hi, it would be very Nice to be able to import the same projects from iMaschine that been exported to maschine.. it’s impossible now.. is this too hard to do? Old projects that I had to back up on my computer I like to open them again in iMaschine. We’ve been waiting too long and words don’t mean nothing if they ain’t backed up by your deeds..

Four months? Haha. iMaschine 2 launched over four years ago, and stopped getting meaningful updates about three years ago. Other than very occasional bug fixes, no one is working on it.

 

Haha. Perhaps English isn’t your first language but my particular point was clear. “Over 4 months since this thread was started...”. I’m not arguing that there have been no developments to improve the product for much longer than that but this thread was started last September. The comments in this thread have specified issues since upgrading their iOS to 13 to do with the broken functionality of the App since, which has affected a number of users, myself included. My issue here concerns the failure to address the issues pertaining to that in that timeframe and that alone. Sorry if you don’t understand the difference between highlighting this to which nothing has changed, and highlighting a lack of additional development/improvements within iMaschine over a period of time, which I am not complaining about here.

As an iMaschine user/Maschine owner I might prefer that NI pulled their fingers out so that it benefits users/owners of both, rather than use something else, but I also want to be able to create sample based music on the fly whilst I am not sat in front of my Maschine/Computer.So if they are not addressing the issues relating to sample trimming etc., of course people like me are going to have to consider ditching iMaschine. And, maybe even reconsider buying into anything else NI, in the future - given their apparent reluctance or inability to deliver a solution to correct these issues.

if you want to bitch about the lack of developments in iMaschine, fire away. But perhaps save it for another thread?

Would be nice to get the files app in ios13 to import loop samples.. or is it me who finds it difficult to import..
Maybe importing loop, buildings ‘groups’ and exporting to Maschine can make iMaschine usable at this stage..

 

Imaschine2 got an update on my iphone a couple of days ago and that is great but I am not experiencing issues on my phone, rather on my ipad pro whereby I cannot chop samples anymore.

If I wish to chop a sample in imaschine on my ipad it cannot be done.. the window opens to chop a sample but the operation is obviously messed up somehow...?

Is this on NI’s radar and something that is going to be addressed or is it just an issue I am experiencing?

I’d perhaps double check to ensure you have the latest version of the App installed/updated on your iPad. It was updated a couple of days ago as you say. Happy to say it would appear as though I can chop/edit samples again with the new version. At least for the time being!

 

Yes thanks Imposter.. I had to manually update as it did not appear otherwise. Now back to making some tunes!

 

Issues introduced with the update... seems running iMaschine along with other app (Ableton Linked), imaschine seems to go dead once not in focus and brought back into focus...
