iOS 8.2 - no problems

Hey hey TDJ community,
as one of the original troublemakers and riot leaders I take my role seriously and quickly updated my iPad Air to iOS 8.2 to test the new OS for you guys (but asked Native Coconut first, wink wink).

So, TDJ and TA2 runs flawlessly on iOS 8.2, the update was smooth and without any issues. CUE points effects all the data remained there, absolutely no issues. And this makes me happy.

I use iPad Air, TRAKTOR AUDIO2 (with PowerSupply and the original Apple adapter).

Yeah, I have found the same so far. I'm guessing NI were developing 1.6.2 on iOS 8.2 beta??. It's seems a lot less glitchy now. I haven't used it for long but it does seem smoother.
I also gained 1GB of storage space on my ipad after updating to iOS8.2 aswell
I did do a full erase of the ipad after update though & then restored everything from backup.

 

They could've tested it with 8.1 and saved me loads of hassle and embarrassment when it started to crash in the club What happened to simple checks ?

 

Simon, as you are using iOS 8.2 - are the additonal effects (like Iceverb) in 1.6.2 (on iOS 8.2) still available ?

Thanks for the info, this helps. I also did not lose the effects (working on 1.6.2 and 8.1.3), I have no good idea why some user lost the effects (it looks like that a connection of a Z1 or S2/S4 results in keeping the effects in TDJ 1.6.2, iOS 8.1.3 or 8.2 doesn't matter ..)
