iOS8 experiences

hey hey Traktor DJs,
have you got any experience with Traktor DJ on iOS8? I afraid to upgrade, due to the memories of the early iOS7 days.
Do we have a brave man here who already upgraded? Does Traktor DJ works fine on iOS8?

The Ugly

As I'm using a iPad Mini first gen I think I'm now going to hold-off until a 8.0.x or 8.1 release.

I tested it with the first beta, but quickly reverted once I discovered my Z1 didn't work. Anyone tried it with the final version yet?

Well I don't have a Z1, S2 or Audio 2 etc, so perhaps I'm not that brave! But I upgraded my ageing iPad3 to iOS8 last night and so far no problems with TDJ. Seems to be running smoothly.

 

THX for your feedback JackReacher! Here is a post from Synthtopia, it looks like many music music apps having issues ATM http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2014/09/17/read-this-before-you-upgrade-to-ios-8/ however it's somehow normal with updates like this.

 

Upgraded my ipad air to IOS8 yesterday. No problems with Traktor DJ here.

Sorry no. S4 Mk2. But have not tested it with traktor DJ yet.

okay, I decided to jump into the unkown and upgrade will get back to you guys tomorrow after testing it with AUDIO 2(CET)

 

okay, do NOT upgrade yet if you have an AUDIO 2. mine does not work. there is no sound from the master output only the cue works. everything was fine before the upgrade. not nice at all. Traktor DJ works without the soundcard tho.

 

Sorry I was not home yesterday. I will give a go tonight and let you know. But the app alone is working fine.

TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 mk2 ... NOT
TRAKTOR AUDIO 6 ... OK

External Mode was work in AUDIO6.
You can also monitoring of Internal Mode.

I do not know I do not have the other.

I no choice but to wait for the response of Apple also AUDIO2mk2,
became the unfortunate position even iOS7 ;(

Yes, I tested everything. Had no problem. So far this IOS upgrade is much smoother than the previous one.

First time I used the S4 with the iPad, really fun ...

 

Hi, I have exactly the same issue. I hope in a quick fix !

 

I'm using the AUDIO2 mk2 with the right (short) Lighting adapter and with Power Supply. played handful of gigs wit it and everything was fine, now following the iOS8 upgrade the AUDIO 2 doesn't work (no master signal).

Hoping for a fix soon!
