Damn! you really have had it bad!

I shall try and see if I can get it working on a 6s plus, and my gf's 5s.

Will post any solutions. Fingers and toes crossed!

I had a go on both phones. I got it working and was stable, but takes a good few seconds to show up. Both with power adapter and with out. I just quitted other apps, no restart of phone.

I had the app open, then plugged in the Audio2 mk2.

BUT! I noticed it doesn't work like the iPad version. It's like a basic version, and the iPad is the pro version.

Maybe a software update of Traktor will add what the iPad can do.

What I found was the iPhone version CANNOT do this (below) properly: [IMG]
When using the phone you are limited to this (although NI Kontrol devices may do more, but I don't have any to test:

i am somehow confused with the pics above ;) so your message is (please correct if i summarized wrong):
    - it works on iPhone in internal mixing mode, but not in external mixing mode like in Traktor Pro ?
    - And what works on iPhone but not on iPad (Pro) ?
    - did you try same latest iOS version on iPhone and iPad ? new 9.3.5 or the older version 9.4?
    - last question ... which TDJ version ?

even if it still not works ... let's find a take-away for the community ...
    thx!

I've lost my iPad with the last stable iOS for traktor DJ. If I get a new one is it going to be buggy or is the app stable now?

what most user tell us: each version of TDJ was less stable then the version before :(
e.g. best ever was TDJ 1.5.x on iOS 8.x, TDJ 1.6.x still ok (with older iOS),
i have newest iOS 9.3.5 on iPad Air2 (128 GB): still works perfect with TDJ, but i use TDJ 1.5.1.

I think I had 1.6, I bought the app August 2015, does that sound right? So if I get a new iPad and use 1.6 I'm gonna have trouble right?

I like the look of djay pro, but would rather stick to what I know and keep using my Z1!

I love my Z1 too ;) i think the best you can do: test your new iPad with TDJ, maybe works still well on your device.

Hint: maybe you have an iTunes backup including apps, then use the TDJ app of backup, if not rhen download actual version. In any case: good luck, test it!, hope you can enjoy the Z1 further on :)

Tell us your versions and results later, ok ?

Latest Traktor DJ for iPhone (6s Plus 128 GB) on ios 10.0.1 works like a charm with the Z1. Problems with the three FX get solved by reinstalling app. Since I don't use any metadata for loops and cues this is not a problem though. Even if I did, there is this Dropbox-sync and probably Trakomerge (never tested). So no problems at all. If people want perfection then they should never start with electronics and lookup for the definition of that word. This app functions phenomenal. Had all the beta versions of ios 10 and mixing was still flawless.

sounds good, thx for letting us know.
And yes, it's always a good idea to do a Dropbox sync at least once as a backup, Then you could restore all metadata (cue points., grid, bpm) with TraCoMerger in case you lost during any updates (iOS or iTunes or TDJ updates).

Is it possible to use iPhone 6S Plus with Traktor S5?

I don't think so, the S5 is not iOS ready as far as I know, but it will work with an S2 or a Z1
