iPad, control z1 & Seagate Wireless plus for storage

I want to buy kontrol z1 for use with my iPad but am concerned about storage & compatibilty of devices. My iPad has 128 gb which isn't enough for my library . The best option for storage seems to be the Seagate Wireless plus 1TB. Is this a good option?

 

Good question. My guess is that this probably won't work as it looks like the Seagate drive needs a proprietary app to stream media to the iPad (it doesn't "import" the media into the iOS Music app). Traktor, however, needs the media imported into the Music app to be able to access the files. Let us know if you find any other solutions!

 

Giancarlo is right. will not work with TDJ. Currently all must be part of iOSmusic app.
Idea: Maybe think about playlists, 128 GB seems a lot for me, do you really need them all for DJ‘ing ??
I removed all songs in itunes which i do not need for DJ, means keep them seperated from my other music in itunes

 

I got along famously with a 128Gb iPad and DJing. I just had different playlist loadouts for different gigs. I’m on the 512Gb now and even though it can’t take my 120K+ track library there’s still plenty of room for all my different playlists now.
