Is 1.7 here yet?

Is 1.7 hear already? Getting komplete 8 early was great but now I don't feel complete with out 1.7.

 

The front of the NI website says September 1st.

I'm wondering if there will be any more supplemental maschine sample packs announced in the near future.

Id love to have a bunch of new sampled synth patches for maschine.

 

It'd give me something to spend my €25 Komplete 8 voucher on!

 

September 1st is coming... will see new updates!

Sorry everyone but there was a last-minute decision made by the developers today to make a further fix in the 1.7 update, which means the release has been pushed back to Monday. I am sure the front page will be amended right away tomorrow to reflect that. This decision came right at the end of our office day today. I hope you will not be too disappointed but this can just happen in software development I'm afraid.

love hearing it, the fact of having a stable version instead of a buggy is good news

 

and maybe i'll have my komplete 8 by then.

 

The dev's we're right in pushing it back for a fix! Love the honesty and openness here with N.I. I wish other companies could talk freely about their software like N.I. does as shown here.

Cakewalk should have done this with Sonar X1, which was a nightmare of bugs.
Ditto for Ableton with Live 8; it's only now becoming stable after being out for 2.5 years...
I suppose this is a little different because it's not a paid release for us, but this is how companies need to act....Maybe NI need to come with a Record like daw, that compliments Maschine, and gives us linear tracking;..

 

Thomas, could you at least give us a run-down of what the new features and changes will be - since there is going to be a delay.

In particular, is there is likely to be any changes to how the browsing and tagging of samples operates?

I've been holding off on importing and tagging all my samples and drums, as someone suggested that with the new browsing of Komplete 8 presets directly from Maschine, there might be changes to this aspect of Maschine operation.

Can you please clarify this, and any other points?

 

Ok good, so they are gonna include time stretching right? thats what the extra time is needed for right? To add important features right?

Love maschine, I swear by it. My only disappointment is not it being pushed back, but that the 1.7 update doesn't really include features that really matter.

Ad the end of the day I'm grateful for maschine.
