    Hi,

I am still a noob, so slap me, if this idea is garbage.:)

I was thinking, wouldn't it be great, if there were a macro function for loading the decks (especially the sample decks) with tracks and samples.

For instance, you could have a track in deck A and two samples running in deck C. Now you want to do a mix to deck B with two or three samples in Deck D. That means loading all 3 or 4 tracks/ samples into each deck manually, which is a bit time consuming and could detract from the flow of the mix.

My suggestion, have the ability to program/ set-up a macro command in the play list, where you would either double click on it or drag and drop into the B deck (or load it via S4). It would then load all the tracks/samples in one shot into predetermined or even "open" slots. So your macro playlist might look like this.

    Macro set 1 opener (Deck A - Song title or sample A, Deck C - sample 1, sample 2)
    Macro set 2 mix to Bla bla (Deck B - Song or sample B, Deck C - sample 3, Deck D - sample1, sample 2, sample 3)
Macro set 3 mix to another Bla bla (Deck A - Song or sample Aa, Deck C - sample 4, sample 5)

    Etc.

In other words, you wouldn't be doing sample and track juggling with the mouse or touch pad. You'd just need to move from on macro to the next and load them. All the necessary samples and tracks are loaded via the macro automatically, in turn cutting down on computer attention time, which is something good DJs seem to want to avoid. They want to keep their attention on the crowd.:)

    Is this feasable?
