    hi,

Just saw native instruments Maschine & it looks fat.

Is any one useing it along with TP?

I would only want to use Maschine to show loops & that over my mixes, so wandered if anyones used it along with TP.

    Cheers

    Hey,
i got taktor and maschine runing on my macbook. Syncing via virtual midi cable works great. You can also control traktor with the same controller unit just by switching it to midi mode.
    GREAT SETUP :D

i bought it at thomann ... 3m 10 euro :D no just kiddin'
Its build in your OSX system. Go to audio-midi setup -> Midi devices and activate the IAC driver. IAC is your virtual midi cable. When you are using windows just check MidiYoke.

I have not tried Maschiene yet, but will have a look at it at the upcoming MusikMesse in Frankfurt.

At the moment I am using my own beats created with Ableton/Logic as audio files.

It looks like this just what I need for TP.
Can`t wait to have a fiddle at it.

To me it's like a blank easel for beat producers. You can wake up in the morning and just put down anything that comes into your head.

    SIIIIICK!

A real shame that there isn`t a demo to at least have a look at the software.
Don`t really want to buy a pig in a poke. :(

    +1

I've only just had a look at the product as I've just bought TSP to a rather high cost, so looking at new gear is the last thing on my mind!

However, it does look bloody good! I used to have a Roland SP-808 which this reminds me of, but I like the idea of NI technology groovebox-type-thing!

Will have to check out the videos when I'm not in work...

I've got a MBP w/ 4 gb RAM, 2.8 Ghz speed. Running both Traktor Pro and Maschine.

Although I have to figure out the right latency settings to get the audio to sync up a bit right out of the gate (when I have them sync'd), it runs extremely well.

In fact, its a ton of fun. I'm using the IAC virtual midi cable for syncing the two programs.

I had a ton of safari windows open, MS Word, my FTP client, calendar, etc. all running while I was stress testing the two working together.

For about two hours. Not a hitch.

To be honest, its pretty damn inspiring. Good work NI.

    :)

Now if only I could get this macbook 2.16 w/2 gigs ram core 2 to play nicely with them both (and add Kore!)

could you elaborate on how they integrate together? I understand it being a midi controller but can you just sync the audio/bpm from TS and Machine together or what?

I actually sat on the couch last night with the Maschine controller and flipped through operation of Ableton, TS Pro and Maschine.

It was AWESOME. I downloaded a TS ableton setup file and now I'm running the decks through ableton, which helps TONS with syncing Maschine (obviously). wow. This thing just did wonders for live setup. I have ONE controller for the 3, one keyboard with the kore controller velcro'd on top, and it's on. :)

Thanks for the wealth of knowledge guys!
