The audio jack on my computer is put stupidly on the front, so of course my drunk roommate would slam my office chair back into it so it doesn't work anymore. I now have all the sound on my computer running through my BCD 3000, which works great and is an easy way to control the volume (plus it just looks awesome :D ) but anyway I was wondering if this is bad, considering it will be getting a LOT more use and i'll end up forgeting to turn it off ever, and also its kind of a cheap unit. Will it be able to handle it or should i look at... *sigh* getting my computer sent in to fix?

Hey mikesilence, do you use your bcd as a soundcard? I had it running fine for a week (i did remember to turn it off when i wasnt using it) and its starting to crap out on me like every 5 or 10 minutes. The light on the mixer is still on, and the driver, but the audio stops and I have to turn it off and back on to get the audio to work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Do the windows performance tweaks... Wlan off, Antivir off, firewall off, disable energy saving for usb root hubs in the device manager, same for the ACPI conform control method battery, set Windows to "full performance" in the control panel -> energy options.
