Thanks for the script Big Bob!!!

I'm not done playing with it. I think you should continue to "enhance" it with more features if you should ever find the time. I used midi pedals for the left hand part as a fun expirement....hmmmm, yeah that was fun!

    Nice job, Thanks!

Thanks pcfx (what does that stand for, computer effects?)

Before adding enhancements, I thought I would first overcome the problem of having to play the LH before the RH. I just about have it done, but, I ran into a snag during testing. I started getting a lot of trouble with stuck notes. Naturally, I thought it was merely some bugs in the new code, but, after some experimenting, I was able to produce the same problem with a very simple 'octave' doubler. See my new post titled 'Is there a bug in the KSP? Until I get this resolved, further progress with V1.01 may not be possible.

One member on a different forum has tried the suggested experiment and so far hasn't experienced the problem, so, I would appreciate being notified if anyone else can reproduce my problem.

So far I haven't faced that problem, could you tell more details of how it happened?

    Hi Dick,

Please check my other thread 'Is there a bug in KSP?' for more info. I also just posted a Standard MIDI file to aid the testing process.

    Hi Dick

Sorry for the long delay but I'm now ready to do some more work on V1.01. However, when I get it done, it may still have a potential for 'stuck notes' until NI fixes the timing problems associated with the KSP. See my new thread titled 'Timing Problems with the KSP'

    Hey DjDick,

Did you ever get connected up with the new harmonzer thread and download your copy? If so, how about posting a short note on the new thread saying you got it.

My computer just died and I'm going to have to bring up a new one. So I won't be very 'active' on the forums for a while (I'm posting this from my wife's computer).

Anyway, if you did get V1.01, I hope you're enjoying it.

Hi, Bob! I've been away, now I'm home and I was trying your script, I'll post feedback in the other thread. :) Thank you.

    Hi Guys!
Did you find a solution to use Kontakt 2 as a vocal harmonizer in realtime, f. e.: left hand plays chord - voice input via microphon - record the left hand midi and the voice into a sequencer & edit it afterwards in sequencer play mode via mod. wheel.
    Best regards, Chris

    Hi Chris,

Wow, you sure dug out an old, old, thread! I haven't done anything more with this script since the last post you just found. This was one of my first scripting projects after getting K2.

However, it only tried to provide harmony for a RH MIDI part based on chords played with the left hand. The KSP doesn't provide any means to manipulate audio itself, so I don't think that you could adapt it to do what you are asking for.

    God Bless,

    Bob
