Nice track Smithwessen! Just curious, do you do all your mixing by ear within Maschine?

yea, i go by ear, get my drums, my samples, my vsti's and other layers leveled how i like.

with vsti/vsts in maschine , im able to do 99% of what i need, the other 1% i have workarounds like tracking mixing vocals and time stretching

one thing crucial to me is to be able to hear the full freq spectrum, so i always recommend a sub to any hiphop producer , the lows are very important to me.

basically i built the track up in maschine stand alone,

i had the vocal stems mashed it up slighly in cubase and rearranged the chorus of the tracks,

but i was additioning the beat via a 2buss in daw at the same time, the only thing i applied to the done track with vocals was a slight bit of compression/limiting in daw, but thats just to stop peaks, the comp limiter is not really effectivly in action, just zapping a few peaks here and there.

i could have bounced my vocal track back into maschine and exported it like that, but that would mean taking a extra step, and not worth my time.

but as i said before a full beat can be accomplished in maschine without a problem.
