Is Komplete Kontrol Multitembral?

I know this is more about the S-series, but was wondering if you just get Komplete 10, do we still get Kontrol. (Sounds dumb I konw, but want to make sure.)

Also, I read somewhere that you could only load one sound at a time? So how will that work for things like Kontakt whre I need to load like four or five instruments at once? Do I just load a bunch of Komplete Kontrols? Will that have an effect as large as loading a bunch of Kontakt instances? (That has some pretty bad results at least for me) Using one and mapping MIDI channel to them works fine though. Can KK do that?

Noticed no one answered my previous questions, but now I've got another.

Again, this is more about Kontrol (the browser software) than the actual controller.

Can the preset switching be mapped to buttons on a 3rd party controller?

I know I keep asking all these browser questions, but this is litterally the ONE thing that has me really interested in K10. For years we've seen "Over 10,000 sounds!" but I find all these pointless if I have to go through each plugin and sort through them. So I'm rather curious about the browser.

    Thanks.

I'd like to see this too - a mapping from a Kore controller to the browser would be nice

Yes, it can only load one sound at a time AFAIK.

The Kontrol software is not really meant to be the standalone host as Kore was, it is "just" a browsing and sound editing tool.
I think that i will try to find the desired sound in the kontrol software and then load it separately (without kontrol) in mainstage for performing live.

This is also the reason why the nice controller knobs and displays on the keyboard will never be as useful as on the kore controller - they are limited to parameters of a single sound. With kore i could use the display and knobs for different plugins and parameters - even for 3rd party ones.

Hm. only one instance... So I wonder how it would handle a Kontakt multi. Does it just open an instance of ckontakt and we do what we want from there?

I'd like to see an indepth look at it or maybe I'll just take a closer look at the video.

    Thanks for the response.

Opens an instance of Komplete plugin, so yes, it should be able to handle Kontakt multis. It just can't load several KOMPLETE patches at once.

I'm curious how the parameter mapping will work in this case.
