I do not see the Reaktor Player 5.7 online ... the link from the Free Products page points to a download for 5.6.2. Is there a link somewhere for the 5.7 Player ?

Similar discussion on KVR showing a lot of people with the same problem.

NI dudes and dudesses - any solution to this?

I already have Reaktor 5.6.2 and I don't have the 5.7 upgrade visible in my Service Center... or anywhere else by the way!

    Hello
I have that link in the E mail but I donot understand this
The Factory Library has been re-saved with REAKTOR 5.7. These ensembles are now incompatible with the integrated engine of REAKTOR (5.6.2) as used by KORE 2. To keep on using all your ensembles after the update, please make sure you activate the “bypass integrated engines” option in the latest version of KORE 2.
. Kore 2 is discontinued then wher shall i get Kore 2 latest version?

Unfortunately, it seems I'm having the same old issue here: I can't find the 5.7 installer/updater anywhere. Not thru my account on the NI site, not in the SC, not anywhere.

Googled the issue, found this thread + some external sites saying the problem was resolved earlier today. Well not for me, it seems.

And now I'm stuck with razor 1.30 telling me to update. Better revert to the old version... doh

    Bypass integrated engines?

What is this and how to do that?
“bypass integrated engines” option in the latest version of KORE 2.
I have latest kore 2 player and latest reaktor 5.7:S

Kore installs fixed versions of NI VSTs for its own use. These are called Internal Engines.

You can copy newer versions of these from your VST folder to the Kore plugin folder, or you can check that box and it will tell Kore to use another plug-in folder.

    @badpitch:

Which type of license do you own exactly?

    For instance:
    -Reaktor 5
    -Komplete 8 Ultimate
    -Komplete 7 or 8
    -Reaktor Player
    -Komplete 5 EDU

Which platform are you using: Mac or Win?

Based on your information I am going to investigate if a certain product relation isn't checked in the update manager properly.

    Any hint/help is highly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I will try this but bypassing means what? Please understand that i am an old man and came to this just few months back.It is really difficult for me.

    Hey Marin,

I'm on OS X 10.6.8, running the Reaktor Player (v 5.6.2.11367). Let me know, and I'll give you whatever details you want.

Another thing - don't know if it's relevant, but anyway:
Looking at the on site support -> my account -> my products and serials , the Reaktor Player is not listed. Shouldn't it be visible in there? No sign of it through updates -> personal update manager either.
In the SC, however, Reaktor 5 Player shows up fine - still not getting any updates, though. Double-checked again before posting this; still the same.

As said, ask me anything if you have to.
    Thanks a bunch! :)

I'm an old man, too! It never gets easy.

Since you have Reaktor 5.7 and Kore Player here is what happens.

Kore Player has an older version of Reaktor VST saved in a special location.
It will use that unless you check the bypass switch. If you select that, it will look in the VST folder for the newer Reaktor.

It will also try to find newer version for all the NI VSTs, but I suppose it all should work out.

For myself, I just copy the VST into Kore's location and ignore the bypass.

I was just about to update to 5.7,

Does this also apply to the AU version? I only have the AU version installed of Reaktor 5.6.2 and Kore Player 2.1.4

Where exactly is this bypass switch in Kore Player?
