Never really saw a comparison as the difference (if any) is negligible.

In my experience wav files load quicker, i often load mp3`s and they tend to take a while sometimes to load into the decks. With wav files the loading is much quicker

Wav and AIFF can be used without decoding and are thus faster to load.

Arguably less intensive on CPU, more intensive on HD speed due to larger filesize.

MP3 gives you better tag handling too.

FLAC would be the obvious choice but apparently it's buggy

I just purchase Steinberg Wave lab ( for recording and editing a Human voice that reading a book for a blind people for free ) coz' I don't have a Premium Micro phone or a Pro Mic....as u know a good mic for recording started at least 1,000$/each
My question don't mean any kind of personal audio format that them like
but I just don't want to reduce my (our) laptop life time since we try to adjust every thing in high performance and try to set computer work hard all the time and today CPU inside our computer is fast enough to working about decoding mp3 or another compress file format then my main question is all about if we can optimize a system that we use every day in the way that should be ..not to make your laptop work hard over it should be...
Btw...my question is just started by when I use wavelab it have a lot of function that seem to make your digital file have a better quality....then I just thinking about Do I need to spend a lot of time to convert and edit my Songs by each .... and yep no need to do that coz' It seem to waste my time....
    Thank you for all Answer...:)

Not sure I understand all that but my opinion on stuff that iimproves the 'quality' of your files:

Modern music is already mastered and therefore doesn't need destructive editing.
