Is there a Komplete Browser to download or is it built into K10 or KB?

Maybe my eyes have gone bad. But, which product has this Kool Komplete Browser (thank god)? Does it work like Kore did (where you can route midi and audio)? Are the filtering options of the browser identical to those found in Maschine or are there any enhanced features in this area (i.e. genre')?

there will be a Komplete Kontrol Software - free for S-Series owners.

this is not Kore, so don't expect it to behave like Kore, so you need to clarify what you mean by MIDI and Audio Routing.

from the videos i have seen, the Browser looks similar to Maschine.

If you don't buy the keyboard. How do you get the Komplete Kontrol Software? Is there an extensive video somewhere showing it's functionality?

 

from what i have read on the NI website and elsewhere, i think you can only get the Komplete Kontrol Software if you have an S-Series keyboard.

there are quite a few videos and they are growing daily- i think googling it and including YouTube might give you a few links.

Thanks I'll look at that one too. But I did find one that answered my question. It basically just finds the sounds for you. The only concern I have is what if you wanted to do a multi timbral setup? Will it force you to use another instance?

UPDATE: Thanks for the Article, It answered most of my questions. It's KKS is a lot like Maschine, but with no audio engine. It just brings up the VI for your after you find the sound you're looking for. From what I can see, it has no multi timbral capability.

 

This entry in the NI knowledge base implies everyone with Komplete 9 will get Komplete Kontrol software for free, but I'm skeptical.

Cool That works for me. If Komplete Kontrol will improve my production by a 15% or more, I'll get it.

 

I just downloaded and installed Komplete Kontrol... I own K9; works fine as a vst in Live, but if you try to access a new instrument in K10 you get an annoying message.

 

So far, I love it. It's basically like the maschine browser with no audio routing.

 

So, uh, how did you guys get Komplete Kontrol already?
