Do want to map FX to a F1 or X1?
Mapping FX to a F1 is simple if you know a little about maping. Use the controller editor, select general midi, assign the F1 and start to map.

No there is no default FX setting for a F1 since the F1 is designed to control remix decks. You can find many different F1 FX mappings online.
And are you not confussing a F1 for a X1 since the F1 does not have a FX row.
Which controller do you mean the left or right one?

As I understand your question is you want to assign FX unit 3 to remix deck C and FX unit 4 to remix deck C using the buttons on second row (FX row) on the F1 when used as a remix deck controller.
You might be able to map this but you will interfere with or loose original functions from the remix deck, but this is not how the FX row is working.

When the F1 is used to control remix decks the function of the FX row is to engage or disengage the routing of the Sample Slot's sound through the effects assigned to the Deck (see manual on how to select). Meaning the sample will be affected by the FX unit when this function is on. It is not possible the have a certain deck routed automaticly at the same time.
At the same time you will need to change the remix deck on the F1 to control the other deck. You can not control two decks at the same time.

Please DM me in and explain me in dutch if I am wrong in understanding your question because I am not sure if an X1 (second different controller) is involved or not.

    Hey tijn,

    Groet,

    Renato
