Here is what I am thinking of buying. I have FS2, looking at purchasing DJ STUDIO 3 along with the following gear.
    2 Dennon DN-3500
    Pioneer DJM-600 Mixer/Sampler
    B-52 matrix 1000 system

Now is this overkill since I will have FS2 and DJ Studio3? I am looking at picking all this up tomorrow at local Guitar Center.

This would be my first DJ setup, so just need to know if this is good bang for the buck or if I am buying more than I need.

If everyone thinks good, than looks like I have xmas a little early this year.

    Thanks

Well, you certainly seem to have more money than what I do ;-(

Anywho, as for CD players I would recommend the Pioneer 1000's instead of the Denons as the Pioneers are the current industry standard. The Denons are brandnew so it's no possible to see how they stand the test of time while the Pioneers are well tested by now. (See also the thread http://www.nativeinstruments.de/site/forum_de/showthread.php?t=29342)
As for the mixer I wouldn't recommend the Pioneer DJM-600 although it also is the current club standard. The reason why I wouldn't recommend the 600 is that it used to be manufactured in Japan and be of good quality but Pioneer are now manufacturing them in Malaysia and unfortunately that has resulted in a drop in quality resulting in problems.
Instead you might want to check out the Ecler NUO 4 which is of quite good quality AND it has built in MIDI controller which is handy for the use with FS and Traktor. Sure the Ecler lacks the sampler and effects of the 600 but with the upcoming T3 you will acces to effects and multiple decks so that should take of that. If you really need a sampler and effects to use together with CD's you could always get a Kaos pad or two...
I have no clue about the B-52 matrix 1000 system so I can't say anything about that.

Pixletracne- Hey I took your advice. I am going to get that Ecler NUO4, read about it and since I have the software makes sense samplling on the computer. Hopefully its easy to map it out on the mixer. I am going to order the mixer come monday, my local Guitar Center does not carry the ecler equipment. However I did go with the 2 Dennon DN 3500's and the B-52 Matrix 1000. Did some ready on the 1000 and got alot of good comments, and the price was pretty good as well. I went with the XLR cables so hopefully once I get the mixer I should be good to try out my FInal Scratch2.

    Now what is T3???

Well, with all the discussion here in the forum about the upcoming Traktor version 3 I thought that it would be pretty obvious what T3 meant... ;-)

I thought it was something else, because I seen that DJ Studio 3 was released.

I would wait until 3.0 is released before buying anything. It would suck if you spent all that cash on something that would be incompatible or unstable with 3.0

Vince TF. The B-52 Matrix sounds awesome. I had it cranked and it was loud/clear. Looks like I need to learn on how to add what my setup is like everyone else on my avatar. I did end up going with the ecler Nuo4 Mixer/MIDI This is one nice device, I am thankfull for these forums on the internet because someone here recommended it before I went out and bought the Pioneer 600.
